I'm Leanne Collins, a Registered Associate Nutritionist (MSc, ANutr) and mum of two. Before becoming a nutritionist, I worked as a supermarket buyer, so I know how food products are made and what labels really mean.
Little Nutrition Co. helps busy parents feel more confident about everyday food decisions, from lunchboxes and snacks to fussy eating and family meals.
My Story
Little Nutrition Co. started from two places: my training as a nutritionist and my life as a parent.
My career began in the food industry, working on the products families put in their baskets. This gave me a practical view of food: what's in it, why it's made the way it is, and where convenience genuinely helps.
Within my own family, I’ve navigated challenges that made food feel anything but straightforward. Those experiences shaped how I work: calm, practical and supportive, with the aim of helping parents feel confident rather than guilty.
Why I Started Little Nutrition Co.
Much of the nutrition advice aimed at parents is either overwhelming and impractical, or so strict it doesn't fit real life. I wanted to offer something different: realistic, evidence-based support that understands the science and the school-night reality, without judgement.
How I can help:
-
Make everyday food decisions easier, from lunchboxes to family meals
-
Make sense of labels and convenience foods, and where they can fit
-
Support fussy eating and reduce mealtime stress
-
Support sensory or neurodivergent eating challenges
-
Build simple habits that work in everyday family life
I work online with parents of children aged 2 and up, with families in the UK and the UAE.
